π Lights, Sirens & Real Sh*t
ποΈ The podcast for the ones still showing up.
EMS is beautiful and brutal. Itβs sweat, diesel fumes, and emotional damage β and we keep coming back for more.
Nobody prepares you for the burnout. Nobody tells you how to process your fifth dead body in a week, how to laugh through the darkness, or how to get some damn sleep after trying to save a kid.
This is where we talk about all of it.
β
Burnout & mental health
β
Black humor & survival tips
β
Real calls & stories (HIPAA-safe, of course)
β
Side hustles & exit strategies
β
And everything you really think at 0630 when dispatch drops another call.
No sugarcoating. No BS. Just real talk for medics, EMTs, firefighters, and anyone whoβs lived this life β or wants to know what itβs really like.
Follow along and ride the rig with us.

The Worst Shift I Ever Had⦠and How It Broke Me (A Little)
Some shifts leave scars.
In this episode, I walk through one of the worst 24-hour shifts of my career β 16 calls, nonstop chaos, and moments I still carry.
It started with a cardiac arrest. I got urinated on, vomited on, and dug a 14-week-old fetus out of a toilet. At 3:00 AM, we worked a 19-year-old kid wrapped around a tree. We all knew how that one ended.
This one broke me a little.
But Iβm still here. And if youβve been through something like it β youβre not alone.
π§ Lights, Sirens & Real Sht* is where we say the things nobody wants to admit about EMS.
This is one of those things.
π Trigger warning: Graphic and emotional content.
